We will open a new MEISEI Institution Secondary School (MI) in April 2026. 2026年4月に明星Institution中等教育部（ＭI）を新開設します
多摩地区で100年の伝統を持つ明星学苑に、新たに表記のMI（明星Institution中等教育部、メイセイ インスティチューション チュウトウキョウイクブ）を開設いたします。このMIでは、学習においては高度な進学カリキュラムの下での六年間の学びで、最難関大学に挑む学力とモチベーションを構築してまいります。
さらに、人間教育をグローバル・リーダーシップ・先見性・知的好奇心の4つの視点に置いて、明星学苑の校是である「実践躬行（ジッセンキュウコウ）」の精神（一人ひとりが体験を通して創造性を開発し、頼もしい人間性を育成する）に基づいて人間力の向上を進めてまいります。
We will open a new MI at Meisei Gakuen, a school with a 100-year tradition in the Tama area. At MI, students will study for six years under an advanced university-preparatory curriculum, building the academic skills and motivation to take on the most challenging universities.
In addition, by focusing on the four perspectives of “global,” “leadership,” “foresight,” and “intellectual curiosity,” we aim to improve students’ human abilities based on the spirit of “practice in action,” which is the school motto of Meisei Gakuen (each student develops his or her creativity through experience and develops reliable human qualities).

主体性を涵養（カンヨウ）し、事物を客観的に見つめ、主体的に自分を育成できる人間力（OECDで言うAgency）を養成します。私が経験してきた教育モデルをベースに、高度の進学カリキュラムとグローバル教育、キャリア教育を推進します。さらに、明星学苑が100年をかけて培ってきた「実践躬行」の精神に基づく多様な体験を通じた創造性と、頼もしい人間性の育成を加味して、これからの世界をリードする人材の輩出を目指していきます。

Meisei Gakuen fosters independence and objectivity (“agency” as defined by the OECD). Based on the education model that I have experienced, we, as an institution, will promote advanced curricula, global education, and career education. In addition, Meisei Gakuen aims to produce individuals who will lead the world in the future by nurturing creativity and diversity based on the spirit of “Jissenkyukou,” which has been cultivated over 100 years.
